Tacking

Into the teeth of a southerly.

These boats were tacking into newy harbour this morning. The swell was pretty substantial,  river was running strong and southerly wind blowing strongly. Unfortunately I couldn’t capture any of the numerous body boarders on the wave.

Showing respect

This image was captured at the killing fields in Phnom Penh, Capital of Cambodia. It shows the blessing bracelets left by many people as a mark of respect for the approx  200,000 people killed and buried at this site during the late 1970’s by Khmer Rouge, led By Pol Pot. It is only one of many of these sites throughout Cambodia. A very Solemn place.
